1974年高忠丽同志带着 Z-2-3雄性不育材料找我,谈她的发现经过及2-2-3的表现,当时我只认识到它既不同于“T型”雄性不育系,又不同于“V 型”雄性不育系,是一个新型的不育类型。为了确定其性质与利用价值,立即向我院领导作了汇报和推荐,经领导批准,当年秋天高忠丽来到原子能所,开始了研究鉴定工作。经过4年6个世代,取得大量的科学数据。于1977年冬原子能所王琳清、程俊源、施巾国等人确定:2-2-3不育材料为无花粉型受显性单基因控制的核不育材料。以后也有人在定性方面作了些工作。1981年8月在北京召开了全国协作会,对如何利用好这个核不育材料提出了许多方案,这里我也谈一些个人看法。1.在常规育种中利用2-2-3核不育材
