随着对生理学研究的深入 ,人们越来越感到用数学研究生理学的重要性。特别是本世纪 50年代以来 ,许多数学家与生理学家共同涉足这一领域 ,取得了一定的成绩。可以认为 ,数学在生理学中的应用是生理学发展的必然。由于生理学是研究活机体机能的一门科学 ,特别是人具有自然、社会和意识三大属性 ,因此 ,给研究带来不可忽视的困难 ,必须寻求合适的数学方法揭示生理机能的本质特征。同时 ,也要看到 ,运用数学研究生理学起步较晚 ,在研究的方法学及研究人员的素质等方面 ,都有值得探讨的问题 ,需要数学家与生理学家的共同努力。
With the deepening of physiological research, people are increasingly feeling the importance of using mathematics to study physiology. Especially since the 1950s, many mathematicians and physiologists have been involved in this field and achieved some success. It can be considered that the application of mathematics in physiology is the inevitable development of physiology. Because physiology is a science that studies the function of the living organism, especially the human has three major attributes of nature, society and consciousness. Therefore, it is necessary to find suitable mathematical methods to reveal the essential characteristics of physiological function. At the same time, we should also see that using math to study physiology started relatively late, and there are problems worth exploring in terms of research methodology and researchers’ qualities, which require the joint efforts of mathematicians and physiologists.
