这条成语最早见于汉代郑玄《诗谱序》:“举一纲而刀目张。”全句的意思是很明白的。但因一“举”字,产生了异议,影响了对全句的理解。如:《现代汉语辞典》解为:“提起大绳子来,一个个网眼都张开了。”《汉语成语小辞典》解为:“提起网上的大绳,网眼就都张开了。”两部辞书,都把“举”解为“提起”。实际的情况是;把“纲”提起,网眼不但不能张开,反而闭合得更紧了。这是有悖于郑氏原意的,而且理论上也说不通。查甘肃师大《汉语成语辞典》:“提起鱼网的总绳一撒,所有的网眼都张
This idiom was first seen in Zheng Xuan’s “Poetic Prologue” of the Han Dynasty: “Cut a program and open a knife.” The meaning of the entire sentence is very clear. However, due to the word “lift”, there was an objection that affected the understanding of the entire sentence. For example, the solution to the “Dictionary of Modern Chinese” reads: “When you bring up a large rope, all the meshes are opened.” The “Chinese Idioms Dictionary” explains: “When you bring up a large rope on the Internet, your meshes will open.” The department’s dictionaries all interpret “lifting” as “lifting.” The actual situation is: When the “gang” is brought up, the mesh can not only be opened, but closed even more tightly. This is contrary to the original meaning of Zheng, and it is theoretically unreasonable. Check the “Chinese Idioms Dictionary” of Gansu Normal University: "The total rope of the fishnet was scattered, and all the meshes were opened.
