广东省邮政运输局是在1988年广东省邮政运输管理体制改革的过程中建立起来的。三年多来,它在广东省邮政运输中发挥着主渠道的作用。1990年,全局总包邮件转运量达964.51万袋,占全省总包邮件转运量的73.2％;通信总量达1765.24万元,占全省长途邮运产品量的75.4％。目前,一个生产指挥协调、作业组织渐趋合理、邮运能力应变灵活、管理功能日臻完善的邮政运输管理体制,在广东省邮政通信事业中发挥着越来越重要
The Guangdong Provincial Postal and Transportation Bureau was established in the process of the reform of the postal transport management system in Guangdong Province in 1988. For more than three years, it has played a major role in postal transport in Guangdong Province. In 1990, the global total package mail transfer volume reached 9,641,010 bags, accounting for 73.2% of the total package mail transfer in the province; the total amount of communication reached 17,652,400 yuan, accounting for 75.4% of the province’s long-distance shipping volume. At present, a postal transportation management system with command and coordination of production, gradual and rational organization of work, flexible postal shipping capabilities and ever-improving management functions plays an increasingly important role in postal communications in Guangdong Province
