宁南地区土壤矿质元素的含量顺序为Ｓｉｏ２＞Ａｌ２Ｏ３＞ＣａＯ＞Ｆｅ２Ｏ３＞ＭｇＯ＞Ｋ２Ｏ＞ＭｎＯ＞Ｚｎ＞Ｃｕ，其中硅、铝、铁、钛空间分布较均匀；钙、镁、钾变异较大、空间分布不均匀。硅、钛、铜、锌、锰为残积母质＞洪冲积母质＞黄土母质；铁、镁、钾为洪冲积母质＞残积母质＞黄土母质；铝为洪冲积母质＞黄土母质＞残积母质；钙为黄土母质最高，残积母质很低。从山地洪积扇中上游阶地中下游阶地，硅、铜、锌、锰逐渐减少；铝、镁、铁、钙、钾则不断增加
