方毅同志离开我们一年了。一年来,方老的音容笑貌,谆谆教诲时时浮现在我的眼前,回响在我的耳边。自1981年担任金川有色金属公司副经理起,我有幸在他的教诲和指导下,亲历了金川成长的黄金时期。从1978年到1986年的9年间,他连续8次亲临金川,抓科技攻关,抓生产经营,抓精神文明建设,没有方老的亲切关怀和大力支持,就不会有“镍都”的今天。尊重知识,尊重人才,爱护干部,尽力为广大科技人员创造良好的工作条件和生活条件,帮助科技人员解决实际困难是方老的一贯作风。
Comrade Fang Yi left us for a year. In the past year, Fang Lao’s voice and smile, his temper always emerge in my eyes, echoed in my ear. Since 1981, as Jinchuan non-ferrous metal company manager, I was fortunate in his teachings and guidance, witnessed the golden age of Jinchuan growth. During the nine years from 1978 to 1986, he went to Jinchuan eight times in a row, catching up with scientific and technological research, grasping production and management and building a spiritual civilization. Without the cordial care and support of Fang Lao, he would not have “Nickel Capital” Today. It is Fang Lao’s consistent style of respecting knowledge, respecting talents, caring for cadres, and doing his utmost to create good working and living conditions for the majority of scientists and technicians and help them solve practical problems.
