In test research, there is less research on the interaction between candidates and candidates in speaking tasks, especially the interaction among the candidates. However, almost all the limited related researches are on the form of paired examinations for Cambridge Oral Tests, which are mainly discussion-based ones. There is no relevant research on the role-playing tasks. Role-playing is a common task type in Oral English teaching and testing in Chinese universities. It is also one of the main types of oral exams in large-scale college English that this research covers. This project selects 3 role plays from the oral video to conduct conversational analysis, and uses Young (2000) construction interaction perspective to explain the exchange of conversation among the candidates. The analysis shows that: candidates of different spoken language levels use various interactive resources and adopt different tactics in the role play of the oral test situation; the ability of the examinee’s interactive construction and the ability to negotiate each other’s resources largely determine their cooperation in the cooperation The performance of oral tasks; the level of matching and differences in the level of collocations between candidates and the examinee’s interaction with the use of strategies have a certain relationship.
