李可染、石鲁是20世纪中国画坛两位山水画巨匠,在中国山水画的创新上,两位大师做了各种尝试和努力,作品呈现出了鲜明的艺术特色。学习两位大师的艺术思想、体会他们作品中的笔墨魅力,将两位大师的山水画放在一起比较,并非是把他们当作对立面来论孰高孰低,而是通过比较研究,使他们纯化的艺术可能性发挥到最大的界限,便于我们能在以后的学习中加以运用。在划时代大变革的潮流中,李可染顺就了时代,创造出无愧于时代的作品;而石鲁在西方冲击传统、众人批判传统的环境里另辟蹊径,创造新意,更是难能可贵。李可染与石鲁先生作为现代山水画史的见证人和启导者,从他们的艺术成就以及成功的经验和得失进行比较研究,希望引发我们关于当代中国山水画发展的多种问题思考。
Li Keran and Shi Lu, two masters of landscape painting in the 20th century Chinese painting society, made various attempts and efforts on the innovation of Chinese landscape painting. In the epoch-making revolution, Li Keran shunned the times and created works worthy of the times. However, it is even more commendable that Shiru opened up new paths and created new ideas in the tradition of striking the West and criticizing the traditions in the West. As a witness and a pioneer in the history of modern landscape painting, Li Keran and Shi Lu made comparative studies from their artistic accomplishments and successful experiences and gains and losses, hoping to arouse our thinking on various issues concerning the development of contemporary Chinese landscape paintings.
