王桥镇王桥村位于县城东南3公里处,与潞安五阳煤矿紧邻,资源丰富、交通便利、商贸发达,是全县首批确定的新农村建设省级重点推进村之一。全村共有648户,2600人,耕地2106亩。村党总支下设3个党支部,8个党小组,共有党员95名,其中女党员9名。近年来,村党总支、村委会紧紧依托矿区优势,结合本村实际,积极创建特色工矿型新农村。
