南京江宁牛首山,我徜徉在其茂密的森林里,寻觅髡残大师的踪迹。幽栖寺残垣断壁间、泮池边摇摇欲坠的古凉亭旁,我努力寻找着髡残大师的蛛丝马迹,残酷的历史竞然没为我们留下丁点的遗存。这位十七世纪中国最著名的画僧,清四僧中的特立独行者,中国绘画史上杰出之代表,自幼向佛,忠明反清,孤居幽栖,以画侍佛,在明末清初上演了一段传奇般的人生之旅。今天我们追寻大师历程,勾索大师遗墨,用以记念这位已离开我们三百多年的著名画僧。
