这里发表的是北京市第一五○中学和华中工学院附中儿位同学写的关于对当前教育革命中一些问题的意见。我们认为,这些意见的大方向是正确的。他们勇于提出改革意见的革命精神是可贵的。十大政治报告指出:“要继续搞好文艺革命、教育卫生革命”。认真学习十大文件,坚决贯彻十大精神,以批林整风为纲,继续搞好教育革命,这是当前教育战线上的一项重大战斗任务。无产阶级文化大革命以来,在毛主席革命路线的指引下,教育革命取得了很大成绩,形势一派大好。但还有许多战斗在后头,还要继续努力。当前,教育战线上的主要危险仍然是修正主义,如果弄得不好,走老路是随时可能的。那种以为教育革命搞得差不多了,可以歇一歇了的观点,是十分危险的。“进行无产阶级教育革命,要依靠学校中广大革命的学生,革命的教员,革命的工人,要依靠他们中间的积极分子,即决心把无产阶级文化大革命进行到底的无产阶级革命派。”各级教育部门和学校的领导干部,要在各地党委一元化领导下,从各地的实际情况出发,认真发动群众,热情支持他们敢于反潮流的无产阶级革命精神,善于听取各种不同的意见,用毛泽东思想充分地调动各方面的积极因素,正确区分和处理两类不同性质的矛盾,集中广大革命群众的正确意见,不断把教育革命推向前进。为此,本刊决定从本期起,围绕《怎样继续搞好教育革命》这个总题目,开辟专栏,展开讨论,希望同志们踊跃发表意见。

But there are still many fighting behind, but also continue to work hard. At present, the main danger in the education front remains revisionism. If it is not properly done, it is possible at any time to take the old road.
