美国芝加哥大学历史教授艾恺(Guy Salvatore Alitto)曾写过有关梁漱铭的一本书《最后的儒家》,为印证事实,他于1980年来中国专访梁漱溟,长谈了十余次,留下了很多录音,后来其中部分内容被摘录进1993年出版的《梁漱溟全集》第八卷。本书则是将梁氏后人所保留的录音全部整理出来,首次全文公开发表。在书中,梁先生论述了儒家、佛家、道家的文化特点及代表人物,涉及诸多政治文化名人,如李大钊、陈独秀、毛泽东、周恩来、蒋介石、康有为、胡适等等,并且回顾了自己一生的重要活动。
Guy Salvatore Alitto, a professor of history at the University of Chicago, once wrote a book entitled “The Last Confucianism” about Liang Shuming. To prove the fact, he came to China in 1980 to interview Liang Shuming and talked a dozen times, leaving many Recording, and later part of which was excerpted into the 1993 edition of “Liang Shuquan Complete Works” Volume VIII. This book is all the records kept by Liang’s descendants sorted out, the first full text published. In the book, Mr. Liang discusses the cultural characteristics and representatives of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism and involves many political and cultural celebrities such as Li Dazhao, Chen Duxiu, Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Jiang Jieshi, Kang Youwei, Hu Shi, etc., and reviews his life Important activities.
