在中国,普及英语高等教育是众多高校长久以来的光荣使命,然而就目前的现状来看,非英语专业学生的英语能力普遍符合社会期待,反而英语专业学生的专业知识和专业技能一直得不到精细化的学习和锻炼,以致于他们走向社会以后无法一对一地将学校知识和社会需求接轨。就此问题,我认为:高校专业设置不够细化是问题的关键。本文以外语系翻译专业作为突破口,重点探讨英语翻译专业设置细化、行业化的必要性和初步可行性。
In China, the popularization of English higher education is a glorious mission of many colleges and universities for a long time. However, at present, non-English majors’ English proficiency is generally in line with the expectation of the society. On the contrary, the professional knowledge and professional skills of English majors are not always available Meticulous study and exercise so that they can not integrate school knowledge and social needs one after another when they move to society. In this issue, I think: The lack of detailed setting of colleges and universities is the key issue. This article takes the translation major of foreign languages as a breakthrough point, and focuses on the necessity and preliminary feasibility of setting thinning and industrialization of English translation major.
