我县地处东江流域山区,全县有23个公社,290个大队,近50万人。1966年后白喉在本县仅有散发病例。1974年8月2日在古竹公社圩镇发生较大流行。统计至年底发病726例,发病率14.08/万,死亡8例,病死率1.15％。1975年继续流行,发病1,274例,发病率25.55/万,死亡7例,病死率0.66％。为总结经验数训,特将我县二年来白喉流行及防治情况报告如下。
My county is located in the mountains of Dongjiang River basin, the county has 23 communes, 290 brigades, nearly 500,000 people. After 1966 diphtheria only distributed in this county cases.
