在广西竞技体育的众多老将新人中,李婷无疑是耀眼的一位。回顾2004年雅典奥运会,全国人民不会忘记,广西人民更不会忘记,10米跳台上,随着李婷和劳丽诗近乎完美的一跳,中国队收获了本届奥运会的第10枚金牌。这枚金牌对鼓舞中国队的士气十分重要,而对于广西,更具有非凡的意义：从1984年开始,广西健儿曾经连续4届冲击奥运跳水金牌,都以失败告终,这一次,“金花”绽放,笼罩在广西人民心头20年的阴霾终于一扫而光。
