Liu Yudong’s novel “Everyday Is Grass” was published under the condition of a sluggish novel creation, “This is an important breakthrough for Liu Yudong and the entire post-70 writers group.” However, this breakthrough no matter in the character arrangement, plot setting, or the basic idea seems to have been born out of his previous novella “Open Sesame.” Does this kind of birthing really deepen the thought of the works, and does the character’s character be more exquisitely portrayed? This article will expound the long-term difficulties of Liu Yudong’s novel “A Year Of the Grass” from two perspectives: application of perspective and characters.
