“扶清灭洋”和“求富求强”两条救国路线是在１９世纪下半叶同时存在、并行发展的。１８４０－１８４２年的鸦片战争、１８５６－１８６０年的英法联军战争、１８９４－１８９５年的中日战争是两条路线酝酿、形成、发展的三大关键事件。两条路线在思想认识、斗争方式和最终追求的具体目标等方面有着显著的差异，但它们都是为挽救中国的民族危亡而斗争的。
The two salvation routes of “helping the Qing and exterminating the Yangzi” and “seeking prosperity for the rich” were simultaneously developed in parallel in the second half of the 19th century. The Opium War from 1840 to 1842, the British-French Coalition War from 1856 to 1860, and the Sino-Japanese War from 1894 to 1895 were the three key issues brewing, forming and developing in two lines. There are significant differences between the two lines in their ideological understanding, the way in which they are fighting, and the ultimate goal pursued. However, both of them are struggling to save China’s national crisis.
