熊红钢1959年生于贵州长顺县,1988年毕业于贵州民族学院艺术系中国画专业,2004年结业于中国画研究院龙瑞高研班,现为中国美协会员,中国版画家协会会员,贵州国画院专职画家,贵州中国画艺委会秘书长。作品入选第七、八、九届全国美术作品展,第三届全国山水画铜奖;第二届中国画展,“东方之韵--2003中国水墨成就展”。其画风空灵、清润、平和、宁静,有浓郁的田园诗意,笔墨显示了浓厚的传统功力,繁而不腻、简而不空、浓重而透气、淡雅而笔厚,是中国当代画坛最具实力的山水画家。
Xiong Honggang was born in Changshun County, Guizhou Province in 1959. He graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting, Guizhou University for Nationalities in 1988, and graduated from Longrui High School of Chinese Painting Research Institute in 2004. Now he is a member of China Artists Association, a member of China Print Engraving Association, Full-time painter, secretary general of Guizhou Chinese Painting and Art Committee.
