哈代是英国最有影响力的作家之一,他的绝大部分作品强烈地抨击英国的教会。然而在很长时间内他被有意或无意地认为是一个宿命论的悲观主义不可知论者,以掩盖他对教会的批判态度。本文拟通过他自身的经历和所受哲学思想的影响以及他主要的作品《德伯家的苔丝》来论证哈代对基督教会的批判态度,以正视听。
Hardy is one of Britain’s most influential writers, most of his work strongly criticized the Church in England. However, for a long time he was consciously or unconsciously considered a fatalistic pessimistic agnostic to cover up his critical attitude towards the church. This article attempts to demonstrate Hardy ’s critical attitude toward the Christian Church through his own experience and the influence of his philosophical thought as well as his main work “Tess of the Tess of the Dübe”.
