外文电子资源经费投入逐年递增,但使用效果却并不令人满意,对这方面的评估日渐受到重视。文章旨在调查外文电子数据库的使用状况,对“使用者”、“使用动机”、“使用困难”、“认知度与使用程度的影响因素”等进行研究。研究发现:年龄、英语等级、学历的增长对使用程度有显著影响;使用目的多是为了完成“学术论文”;用户最主要的困难是对专业外语术语的陌生。
The funding for foreign electronic resources has been increasing year by year, but the results are unsatisfactory. The assessment of this field has drawn increasing attention. The purpose of this article is to investigate the use of foreign electronic databases and to study the factors such as “user ”, “motive ”, “difficulty in using ”, “cognitive and using degree ” and so on. The study found that: age, English level, the growth of academic qualifications have a significant impact on the degree of use; the purpose of the purpose is to complete the “academic papers”; the most important difficulty for users is unfamiliar with professional terminology.
