广西的民办中学教育早于公办中学,发展过程经历了几次反复,是广西中学教育的一个重要组成部分。广西民办中学教育在建国前的发展过程表现出比重大、非营利性质明显、民办学校与公办学校之间转制灵活、内部组织机构和管理制度比较完善、办学经费筹措渠道丰富多样、教学质量高、政府鼓励和支持民间发展私立中学并重视通过立法规范私立中学的办学行为等特点,为我们今天发展民办中学教育提供了宝贵的借鉴。
Private secondary education in Guangxi is earlier than that of public high schools. The development process has undergone several iterations and is an important part of secondary education in Guangxi. Private secondary schools in Guangxi showed significant proportions in the development process prior to the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The non-profit nature of the privately-run secondary schools in Guangxi Province was clear. The transition between private schools and public schools was flexible. The internal organizational structures and management systems were relatively complete. Funding channels for running schools were diversified, The government encourages and supports the private development of private secondary schools and attaches importance to regulating the running of private secondary schools by legislation. It provides a valuable reference for us to develop privately-run secondary education today.
