题记:1987年1月,时任国务委员、国家计委主任的宋平同志写信给甘肃会宁县四房吴乡二房吴村上沟社林业员郭富山,高度评价了他埋头苦干、绿化祖国的事迹和造福后代的献身精神,同时给县文化馆干部孙志诚写信,建议详尽收集郭富山的事迹,写成报道或报告文学发表,或画成连环画在文化馆展出。时至今日,郭富山的事迹被越来越多的人所知晓。
