《汉藏史集》是一部研究元明时期西藏地方以及汉藏关系的珍贵史料。书中宗教因素极为明显,同时,《汉藏史集》又具有独特的史学价值;包括作者高度自觉的史学意识;眼光独到,运用专题写作的创新格式以及保存了珍贵的历史资料。其史学价值不仅弥补了其他史籍记载的不足之处,更是继承了前人的优良传统,有助于引导后来史籍的撰写。汉译本著作的出现,更是推动了藏族史学史以及古代史全方位的研究进展。
The History of Hanzang Collection is a precious historical material for studying the relationship between Tibet and the Sino-Tibetan relations in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. The religious elements in the book are extremely obvious. At the same time, “History of Hanzang Collection” has unique historical value; including the highly conscious historical consciousness of the author; unique vision, the innovative format of using thematic writing and the preservation of precious historical materials. Its historical value not only makes up for the shortcomings recorded in other historical books, but also inherits the fine traditions of its predecessors and helps to guide the later writing of historical books. The advent of Chinese versions of books also promoted the research progress of Tibetan historiography and ancient history.
