有这样一则故事:古代的一位官员微服私访,路过一片农田,看见一个农夫驾着两头牛正在耕地,便问农夫:“你这两头牛,哪一头更棒呢?”农夫看着他,一言不发。等耕到了地头,牛到一旁吃草,农夫附在官员的耳边,低声说:“告诉你吧,边上那头牛更好一些。”官员奇怪地问:“你干吗用这么小的声音?”农夫答道:“牛虽然是畜类,但心和人是一样的。我要是大声说,它们能从我的眼神、手势和声音里分辨出我的评论,那头不够优秀的牛,心里会难过的。”
There is such a story: An ancient official made a visit to a farmland and saw a farmer driving his farm with two cows. He asked the farmer: “Where are you two cows, which one is better?” The farmer looked at him. Without a word. After ploughing to the ground, the cow grazing aside and the farmer attached to the official’s ear and whispered, “Tell you, the cow on the edge is better.” The official asked strangely, “Why are you using such a small amount? Sound?” said the farmer, “even though the cow is a beast, the heart is the same as the man. If I say aloud, they can distinguish my comments from my eyes, gestures, and voices. The cow is not good enough. My heart will be sad."
