由西门子-依泰莲·泰联合体(SIEMENS Italian-Thai Consortium)承建的曼谷高架铁路(BTS),从1996年10月正式启动,以交钥匙方式,用38个月时间建成。联合体成立于1994年7月,同期与泰华荣公共有限公司的子公司——曼谷城市轨道交通公司(BTSC)签署了备忘录。融资由股东、国际金融公司和由1家德国银行及1家泰国银行组成的银团3方提供。
The Bangkok Viaduct (BTS), constructed by the SIEMENS Italian-Thai Consortium, was officially launched in October 1996 and completed in 38 months in a turnkey manner. The consortium was formed in July 1994 and signed a memorandum with Bangkok Metropolitan Rail Transit Company (BTSC), a subsidiary of Thai Wah Wing Public Company. Financing was provided by shareholders, IFC and a syndicate of 1 German bank and 1 Thai bank.
