龙金发在乐平鸣山大桥等地于“鸣山层”下部发现了硅藻岩,判断“鸣山层是一个单独的地层,是原生沉积。”并认为“鸣山段的岩性和成因与硅藻层和硅质海绵岩明显不同。”既然鸣山段与硅藻段在岩性、成因、层位等方面分属两个地质体,硅藻岩是原生沉积何以能推导出鸣山层是原生沉积?事实上,鸣山层硅质岩仅见于地表,地下为茅口灰岩所取代,该文称“鸣山层有稳定的层位,有广泛的分布”,不知其根据何在?该文将茅口组分为鸣山段、硅藻段及茅口段,对于能否建立硅藻段值得商榷。
