优秀的语文教材是文质兼美的文字的集合体,多数为文学作品,“即使是普通文,它既有被选人精读教材资格,多少总带点文学的意味”。语文教材被誉为“语言的图画”,“生活的教科书”,它远远超过了学生直接经验的生活圈,极大地扩大了学生的视野,从中可以鸟瞰古往今来人类社会生活中的各种人文景观,也能远眺人类未来生活的各种人事物象。教材中反映美的存在的领域无限宽广。教师应挖掘美的因素,对学生进行自然美、社会美、艺术美的教育。
