软岩巷道的支护问题是当前矿山建设和生产上的重大技术难题,在舒兰、沈北、长广、两淮等矿区中,有的软岩巷道开掘后,经过了多次翻修仍不能正常使用,由此耗费了大量的资金,影响矿山的建设和生产。大量的现场实例说明,软岩巷道的支护问题是一个十分复杂的问题,其中包含有多种因素,只有在充分认识了软岩的特性、现场地质条件、围岩的性态以及支护的作用特点等情况之后,这一问题才有可能得到合理地解决。
