人参果在植物学上称香瓜梨,属茄科,俗称香艳梨、香艳茄,多年生草本植物。原产南美洲北安第斯山区,我国在上世纪80年代引进。人参果既有观赏价值,又可当水果用,而且其茎叶可喂猪、牛、羊、兔。人参果鲜艳美丽,果肉清香多汁,风味独特,营养丰富,富含硒元素,被誉为“生命的火种”和“抗癌之王”。人参果在我国引进虽然短短几年,却显示了高产优质的特点。
Ginseng fruit is called botulinum pear, belonging to Solanaceae, commonly known as fragrant pear, fragrant eggplant, perennial herb.
