我县1976年引入锦杂75高粱,1979年播种面积6.62万亩,占高粱总面积的22.0％;1981年播种13.8万亩,占高粱总面积的45.9％;1982年计划播种16万亩以上,将占高粱总面积一半左右。锦杂75能迅速推广的主要原因是: 1.早熟:锦杂75生育期125～130天。5月上旬播种,9月15日前成熟。1976年低温,晋杂4号有的灌浆不足,晋杂1号有不少地块没上来,而锦杂75却能正常成熟,并且比晋杂1号早熟7～15天。就低温冷害而言,它是个安全品种。
