延边地区位于吉林省东北部半山区,属北方海洋性暖流气候区,无霜期135—150天,年平均气温3—5℃,适于一季水稻生长。稻田多分布于丘陵谷地及江河沿岸,每年种稻时间只有4—5个月,其他时间基本保持旱作状态,同时种稻年代较短,多半不超过50年的历史,土壤中物质分化移动的作用微弱,尤其是土壤下层,稻田土壤的形态分化不够明显,仍具有旱作土壤或自然土壤的原始特征,是不同于南方水稻土的一种独特的北方稻田土类型。
Located in the northeast of Jilin Province, Yanbian is located in the semi-mountainous area in the northeastern part of Jilin Province. It belongs to the northern maritime thermal climatic zone with frost-free period of 135-150 days and annual average temperature of 3-5 ℃. It is suitable for growing rice in one season. The rice fields are mostly distributed in hilly valleys and rivers and rivers. The annual rice planting time is only 4-5 months. The paddy fields are basically kept in the dry state for the rest of the year. At the same time, the paddy fields are short and mostly not more than 50 years old. The effect is weak, especially in the lower soil layer. The paddy soil is not distinctly differentiated in shape and still has the original characteristics of dry soil or natural soil. It is a unique type of northern paddy soil that is different from the southern paddy soil.
