: L B film as a template can induce crystal orientation nucleation and epitaxial growth, the resulting crystalline material has a unique microstructure and excellent physicochemical properties. This method has important implications for the study of biomineralization and the design of novel material synthesis strategies. In this paper, the recent progress in this field is summarized from the mechanism and utilization of L-B film induced crystal growth.
