In April 2005, Li Yun, vice president of the Agricultural Bank of China Guizhou Branch, was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months’ imprisonment for crimes of accepting bribes and huge amounts of unidentified sources of property. Before her head boss, Guizhou Agricultural Bank of China Gao Jiwen, the bank’s governor, was also sentenced to 15 years in prison for committing bribes. What is dramatic is that Li Yun, former vice president, hated the corrupt practices of the president, Gao Jiwen, and personally went to Beijing
