目的检测脑瘤与脊髓肿瘤患者血清和脑脊液(CSF)中唾液酸(SA)的含量,比较两者对脑瘤与脊髓瘤的诊断价值。方法应用SA快速比色测定盒对113例脑肿瘤和24例脊髓肿瘤患者血清及CSF唾液酸含量进行测定,分别进行组间比较。结果脑瘤与脊髓瘤患者血清和CSF唾液酸含量明显高于对照组(P<0.01和P<0.001),而CSF中SA含量的阳性率(92.7%)明显高于血清SA含量的阳性率(60.6%),两者有显著性差异(P<0.001)。结论血清和CSF中SA含量可作为脑瘤与脊髓瘤的诊断指标之一,而CSF中SA含量的测定对脑瘤与脊髓瘤的诊断更具临床价值。
Objective To detect the content of sialic acid (SA) in serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of patients with brain tumor and spinal cord tumor and to compare the diagnostic value of both of them with brain tumor and myeloma. Methods Serum and CSF sialic acid levels were measured in 113 brain tumor patients and 24 spinal cord tumor patients by SA colorimetric assay kit, and compared between groups. Results Serum and CSF sialic acid levels in patients with brain tumor and myeloma were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.01 and P <0.001), but the positive rate of SA in the CSF was 92.7% The positive rate of SA content (60.6%) was significantly different between the two groups (P <0.001). Conclusions SA content in serum and CSF can be used as a diagnostic index for brain tumor and myeloma. The determination of SA content in CSF is more valuable for the diagnosis of brain tumor and myeloma.
