木立芦荟粗多糖按100、200、400mg/kg给小鼠灌胃7天，可使正常及免疫抑制小鼠免疫器官重量明显增加，亦能明显增强小鼠网状内皮系统吞噬功能。提示木立芦荟粗多糖具有增强免疫功能的作用。
The oral administration of A. roxburghii polysaccharides to mice at 100, 200, and 400 mg/kg for 7 days resulted in a significant increase in the weight of immune organs in normal and immunosuppressed mice and a significant increase in the phagocytic function of the reticuloendothelial system in mice. It suggests that Aloe arborescens polysaccharide has the function of enhancing immune function.
