布纹球Euphorbia obesa,又名晃玉、阿贝莎,为大戟科大戟属多浆植物,植株小球型,直径8～12厘米,球体表面灰绿色,上有红褐色纵横交错的条纹,顶部条纹较密。具阔棱8条,棱缘上有褐色小钝齿。植株雌雄异株,雌株球体较扁,雄株球茎圆筒状,除切顶外,均为单生,绝不自生仔球。球体顶部棱缘上着生极小的黄绿色花朵。布纹球原产南非,习性强健,喜温暖、干燥和阳光充足的环境,不耐寒,忌潮湿。春、秋两季的生长期可适当浇水,夏季高温和冬季低温时要节制浇水,尽量保持土壤干燥,越冬温度不能低于12℃。栽培中忌过度潮湿和阴暗,否则球体下部会产生褐斑,还要避免损伤球
