In 2007, with the joint efforts of Prof. Huang He and Prof. Ouyang Hongwei, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University Medical College and the Organization Engineering Center of Zhejiang University Medical College established the Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Stem Cell and Medical Tissue Engineering.
