After middle age to always pay attention to their waist circumference. According to the British “Daily Mail” report, researchers warned that too much waist circumference will make life expectancy shortened, both men and women are so. The study found that those who had a low waist circumference had a higher risk of dying from heart disease, respiratory disease, and cancer after the effects of factors such as body mass index (BMI), smoking, alcohol consumption and exercise were excluded. People with thicker waistlines are at a greater risk of premature death than those with smaller waistlines. Researchers at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA, have analyzed the above conclusions based on medical data from more than 600,000 people in 11 studies. They found that men whose waist circumference was longer than 109 centimeters (about 3 feet 3) had 50% more risk of dying than men whose waist circumference was less than 89 centimeters (about 2 feet 7), which corresponds to a three-year reduction in life expectancy after 40 years of age. Waist circumference more than 94%
