800,000 in a county in northern China. In 2000, a total of 1985 cases of infectious diseases occurred, of which 36 died. In 2000, the prevalence of infectious diseases in the county was 248.12 per 100,000 and the death rate was 1.81%. By strengthening health and disease prevention, a total of 1796 cases of infectious diseases occurred in the county in 2002, of which 29 died. In 2002, the prevalence of infectious diseases in the county was 224.50 per 100,000 and the death rate was 1.61%.
