徐兴尧是一汽原副总经理兼总工程师。在一汽,在汽车行业,知道“徐兴尧”的人不多,但知道“徐老大”的人很多。不过,已经很难求证“徐老大”这个称谓源于何时何地。76岁的徐兴尧1937年出生在辽宁省海城县的一个农村。他在家排行第七,上有六个姐姐,下有一个弟弟。因为家境条件并不富裕,从初小到高小,从初中到高中,他艰难求学,最终于1958年考上吉林工业大学内燃机专业,成为家乡第二个大学生。一次令人印象深刻的座谈发生在1959年。作为班里的骨干成员,徐兴尧与其他同学获得参观一汽的机会。座谈会上,他第一次听时任一汽厂长的饶斌同志的报告,并受其设计的一汽远大前景的吸引。1963年8月,徐兴尧大学毕业,抉择之际,他义无反顾地选择了一汽。在一汽设计处,他从一个普通技术员做起,历任科长助理、设计处副处长、长春汽车研究所副书记、第一副所长、所长。根据《中国一汽志》记载,在设计处工作期间,他参加CA140发动机设计,主要承担配气系统设计、试验工作。用激冷铸铁材料挺杆,解决了擦伤和疲劳损坏等难题,后为二汽EQ140发动机采用。在红旗保险车项目中,他参加300马力发动机的设计和试验,承担了曲轴、连杆、活塞等运动件的设计和试制,以及全部台架试验和整车匹配验证工作。1982年徐兴尧被任命为汽研所第一副所长,此后10年,汽研所重点完成CA141、CA142、CA150等中重型及轻型系列换型产品开发;参与并决策奥迪轿车技术引进、克莱斯勒488发动机技术和设备引进,以及奥迪和488发动机的匹配工作;完成汽研所和一汽设计处的合并管理。回顾这段历史,他坦陈,最难的是“汽研所和一汽设计处的合并”。徐自1990年8月起调任一汽副厂长。调任前,他和时任一汽厂长的耿昭杰约法三章:第一,在其位谋其事;第二,不要让他坐冷板凳;第三,总厂只能管他,不能管他管的事。耿答应了他的要求,1999年他退居二线。2003年徐兴尧65岁正式退休,至此,他在一汽整整干了40年。2013年7月15日,一汽建厂60周年之际,在颇具历史底蕴的一汽74栋宾馆里,《汽车商业评论》记者在此对徐兴尧进行了两个多小时的访谈。访谈中,一汽总经理许宪平来看望他,并称他为“徐老师”。
Xu Xingyao is the former deputy general manager and chief engineer of FAW. In the FAW design office, he started from an ordinary technician, served as assistant chief, design department deputy director, deputy secretary of Changchun Automobile Research Institute, the first deputy director, director. According to “China FAW” records, during the design office work, he participated in CA140 engine design, the main commitment to the gas distribution system design, testing work. In 1982, Xu Xingyao was appointed as the first deputy director of the Institute of vaporization. After that, the Institute focused on the development of heavy and light series products such as CA141, CA142 and CA150; participated in and decided upon the introduction of Audi sedan technology, and Chrysler 488 The introduction of engine technology and equipment, and the matching work of Audi and 488 engines; and the merger management of Automobile Research Institute and FAW Design Office. Recalling this period of history, he confessed that the hardest part is the “merger between the Institute and FAW Design Department.” Since August 1990, Xu was transferred to deputy director of FAW Group. Before he was transferred, he and Gengzhao Jie, the chief executive of FAW Group, made the following three chapters: first, to find fault in his position; secondly, he should not let him sit on the bench; third, the general factory could only manage him and could not control his affairs. Geng agreed to his request, in 1999 he relegated to second line. In 2003 Xu Xingyao officially retired at the age of 65, so far, he has done 40 years in FAW. On July 15, 2013, at the 60th anniversary of FAW Construction, at a historic FAW 74 hotels, a journalist of Automotive Business Review interviewed Xu Xingyao for more than two hours. During the interview, Xu Xianping, the general manager of FAW, came to see him and called him “Xu teacher.”
