地质矿产部石油海洋局于3月20日至23日在南京召开了“赴美考察碳酸盐岩石油物探方法技术成果报告会”。来自全国各地的一百六十多名代表出席了会议。 在历时三天的会议中,以朱大授同志为组长、欧庆贤同志为副组长的“赴美考察小组”的同志们,以丰富的资料详细介绍了美国碳酸盐岩地区的物探工作,特别是在礁体的探测、地层圈闭和逆掩断层带的勘探中取得成功的许多实例;介绍了超多道数字地震、三维地震、垂直地震剖面、可控震源非线性扫描、大地电磁、反演模型及彩色显示等先进的方法技术在美国的应用和推广;以及美国在采集、处理、解释各个环节中严格的工作态度和严密的质量管理方法。
