自从人类的始祖亚当和夏娃偷吃禁果之后,上帝就惩罚女人加倍承受怀孕的痛苦,若要终止妊娠,做人工流产也得承受一定的痛苦。不少因避孕失败而多次经受人工流产手术之苦的妇女,都曾提出过这个问题,究竟有没有更好的避孕方法。为了找到这个答案,使女人摆脱这种痛苦,国内外的计划生育专家们正在竭尽全力地潜心研究,迄今为止,可谓最佳的选择是:澳大利亚医生比林斯提出的自然避孕法。
