The Paparazzi是第十一单元话题Media下的第二课,本课为第二课时。狗仔队是一个争议性很大的职业,公众和媒体对于其的负面影响报道较多,而为这一行业辩护的文章和报道较少。因此,“the paparazzi”是一个很好的能激发学生全面、客观、批判性看待问题的话题。学生在学习完本课之后,能够借助艾德勒和范多伦提出的主动阅读方法,把握文章大意,理清文章脉络,并结合生活阐明自己对狗仔队的看法。
The Paparazzi is the second under Media Media Topic 11, this lesson is the second lesson. The paparazzi is a highly controversial profession, and the public and the media have reported more about its negative impact and fewer articles and reports have defended the industry. Therefore, “the paparazzi ” is a good topic to stimulate students’ comprehensive, objective and critical view of the issue. After learning this lesson, students can take advantage of the active reading methods proposed by Adler and Fan Duolun, grasp the essay, clarify the context of the article, and combine life to clarify their views on the paparazzi.
