近年来,普通语言学已逐渐为大家所注意。这是一件可喜的事。但是从另一方面看,普通語言学还沒有受到应有的重視。有人认为研究语言就是研究语法,有人认为研究语音没有用处。这些看法跟不了解普通语言学有重大关系。由于不重视普通語言学,我們的语言研究工作和语言教学工作往往陷于煩瑣、狹隘,缺乏一定的理论。从这个意义上说,岑麒祥先生《普通语言学》的出版(科举出版社版)对于推动普通語言学的学習有极大的意义。
In recent years, ordinary linguistics has gradually been noticed by everyone. This is a welcome thing. On the other hand, however, ordinary linguistics has not received the attention it deserves. Some people think that the study of language is to study grammar, some people think that the study of speech is not useful. These views do not have a significant relationship with general linguistics. Because we do not pay attention to general linguistics, our language research work and language teaching work tend to be cumbersome, narrow and lack a certain theory. In this sense, Mr. Cen Qi Xiang’s publication of General Linguistics (Imperial Examination Press Edition) is of great significance in promoting general linguistic learning.
