李桓权是今年韩国备受关注的年青一辈雕塑家,作品极具个人风格,并为许多艺术爱好者收藏。李恒权生于1974年,2004年毕业于韩国暻园大学,取得环境雕刻学士及硕士地位,1999年荣获韩国概念雕刻展优秀奖。2004年参加釜山Eulsookdo公园举办的釜山双年展,2005年参加了分别在首尔市立艺术中心、世宗文化中心及首尔艺术中心举办的联展。2007年在德国杜塞朵夫的Posco艺术中心Anders艺廊举办个展,2008年在首尔贞洞剧院举办个展,2009年在香港举办个展。
Lee Hwan-kwan is a young generation of sculptors who have drawn much attention from South Korea this year. His works are very personal and are collected by many art lovers. Born in 1974, Li Hengquan graduated from Xinyuan University in Korea in 2004 with a bachelor and master’s degree in environmental engraving. In 1999, he was awarded the Excellence in Concept Sculpture Exhibition. Joined Busan Biennale in Busan Eulsookdo Park in 2004 and participated in a series of joint exhibitions held in Seoul City Art Center, Sejong Cultural Center and Seoul Arts Center in 2005 respectively. He holds a solo exhibition at the Anders Gallery, Posco Art Center, in Dusseldorf, Germany. In 2008, he holds solo exhibitions at the Jeongdong Theater in Seoul and a solo exhibition in Hong Kong in 2009.
