1.学会召开高校教授座谈会 10月13日下午,学会召开本市高校教授座谈会,商讨和策划设想于明年召开的有关都市交通国际学术研讨会的初步方案。座谈会由秘书长徐康武主持,副秘书长虞同文介绍了初步方案,听取意见。学会原副理事长杨佩昆教授,常务理事、同济大学晏克非教授,常务理事、上海理工大学范炳全教授等对“2003上海都市交通国际学术研讨会”的方案提出了很有价值的意见。根据教授们的意见和市科协领导的建议,学会正在制定国际学术研讨会的详细方案。
1. Learn to Hold Forums of University Professors On the afternoon of October 13, we learned to hold symposiums for professors of colleges and universities in this city to discuss and plan preliminary plans for the international symposium on urban transport to be held next year. The forum was presided over by the Secretary-General Xu Kangwu, deputy secretary general Yu Tongwen introduced the initial program to listen to opinions. Professor Yang Pei-kun, former vice president of the Institute, standing director, Professor Yan Kefei at Tongji University, executive director and Professor Fan Bingquan from Shanghai University of Science and Technology, put forward valuable suggestions on the program of “2003 Shanghai International Symposium on Urban Transportation”. According to the professors’ advice and the suggestions of the leaders of CAST, we learned that we are making detailed plans for international academic seminars.
