Objective: To observe the effect of anti-fatigue No.1 (AF-1) on ATP and lactic acid in blood and ATP content in brain and muscle tissues of swimming rats. Methods: The content of ATP in the blood and tissues of six groups of rats with different swimming strength was measured by the method of bioluminescence. The change of the content of lactate was monitored by automatic analyzer of lactic acid. Results: The swimming time of 10 min in the administration group was significantly higher than that in the control group. The content of lactic acid in blood was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <001). In swimming exhaustive rats, the content of blood ATP in the administration group was also higher than that in the control group, while the content of blood lactate was lower than that in the control group (P <005, P <001). In the administration rats, the muscle ATP content in the swimming 10 min group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P <001); the swimming exhaustion group could still maintain the level of the control group (the swimming time was different). Administration of swimming 10min and exhaustive brain tissue ATP content and no administration of animals no significant difference, but no swimming group was significantly higher than the control group. The ATP content in the muscles of non-swimming rats was also significantly higher than that in the control group (P <005, P <001). Conclusion: Anti-fatigue No.1 has the anti-fatigue effect, which may promote the metabolism of energy and reduce lactic acid accumulation by increasing the production and storage of ATP in tissues, thus increasing exercise intensity and exercise time
