一九七九年六月我有机会拜访上海音乐学院付院长谭抒真教授,并参观了上海音乐学院管弦系提琴制作专业。在一间并不十分宽敞但光线充足的教室里,五名男女同学正在自己的工作台上精心制作。墙上挂着学生们模绘的小提琴图纸。室内有学生们自己动手制造的工具、木模,还有一台小型土车床。在教室的另一头的柜子里挂着几把不同类型的小提琴,以备学生们随时观察和鉴赏。另一房间是谭抒真教授亲自给学生们上演奏课、理论课的教室。
In June 1979, I had the opportunity to visit Professor Tan Shuzhen, the dean of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and visited the violin making department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In a not-so-spacious, well-lit classroom, five boys and girls are crafting their own workbench. Wall painted with student-drawn violin drawings. Interior students have their own tools, wooden molds, as well as a small soil bed lathe. In the classroom at the other end of the cabinet hanging a few different types of violin for students to observe and appreciate at any time. The other room is Professor Tan Shuzhen personally to the students playing class, theory class classroom.
