阅读是人们获取信息的重要途径,阅读理解能力的高低直接影响和制约着一个人的听、说、读、写等能力的发展。初中英语课程标准明确要求:“侧重培养阅读能力,为进一步学习和运用英语打好基础。”阅读能力一般指阅读速度和理解能力两个方面,阅读表面上看是一种单向的语言交流,实际上却是作者与读者双方共同参与的语言交流活动。因此,提高学生的阅读能力是中学英语教学的一个重要目标,也是提高学生综合能力的主要途径。
Reading is an important way for people to obtain information. The level of reading comprehension directly affects and restricts the development of one’s abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Junior high school English curriculum standards clearly require: “focus on reading ability, lay the foundation for further study and use of English.” Reading ability generally refers to reading speed and understanding of two aspects, the reading surface is a one-way language Exchange, in fact, is a language exchange that both authors and readers participate in. Therefore, improving students ’reading ability is an important goal of English teaching in middle school and also a main way to improve students’ comprehensive abilities.
