玉米是山东泰安地区主要粮食作物之一,自七十年代初基本普及玉米杂交种后,对提高玉米产量起到了重要作用。一般较种植普通品种增产10~20%,有的高达30%以上。玉米自交系是配制杂交种的重要物质基础。如果自交系纯度低劣,制种质量不高,会直接影响杂种优势的发挥。为了迅速提高玉米亲本纯度,1980~1983年,我们从实际出发,采取了一些行之有效地措施,四年来取得了初步效果,现综合如下:
Maize is one of the major grain crops in Tai’an, Shandong Province. Since the early popularization of maize hybrids in the early 1970s, maize has played an important role in raising corn yield. General than planting ordinary varieties yield 10 ~ 20%, and some as high as 30% or more. Inbred lines of maize are important material bases for formulating hybrids. If inbred lines of poor quality, quality of seed production is not high, will directly affect the heterosis play. In order to rapidly increase the purity of maize parents, from 1980 to 1983, we took some effective measures and took initial measures in four years. The results are summarized as follows:
